Green Technological Progress and the Backwardness Advantage of Green Development: Taking the Sustainable Development Strategy of Central and Western China as an Example

It is generally believed that research and development on green technology are difficult, but this paper finds the gap in technological progress between central western regions eastern region China significantly smaller than progress, per capita GDP of caught up with faster GDP. This proposes comparative advantage human capital level reason why these choose direction choice may further bring about backwardness advantages regions. Through system generalized method moments (sys-GMM) estimation, empirical using panel data from 29 provinces as well regional mainland 1995 to 2017 proved above proposition.
